Bike

Perhaps not instinctively obvious, travelling on two wheels is one of the most popular ways to explore Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands including the Shannon and Shannon Erne Blueways.  A network of stunning trails running on or alongside Ireland’s most idyllic lakes, canals and rivers, takes you into the heart of her most unspoilt landscape.  Many of the looped routes are within a 5-10km range making them ideal for the entire family. The routes we suggest have some of the best bistros, restaurants and coffee shops “enroute” so there is always time to stop, rest, relax and rejuvenate before exploring the next stage of your route.
